External Auditor Training

THIS IS A DESIGNED COURSE TO GIVE PARTICIPANTS COMPREHENSIVE SKILLS IN BOTH THE THEORY AND PRACTICAL TECHNIQUES NECESSARY TO CONDUCT EXTERNAL AUDITS IN THE AREA OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.

The individual segments of the course meets the requirements for registration as a (Lead) Auditor by Auditor Registration Bodies (including RABQSA and IRCA).
A hands on approach to scheduling and planning audits includes preparation of checklists through the analysis of procedures and other documents. Efficient management of an audit team, the use of Technical Experts and creating positive relationships with the auditee are just a few of the important aspects covered, which are crucial for competent auditing.
An auditing course is ineffective without practical use of the techniques, and this course puts great emphasis on exposing each participant to realistic situations. This is achieved by each student's participation in a full systems audit roleplay with real people under the close guidance of a course presenters.
The course continues with a section on reporting and follow-up, a solid review of techniques for verification of corrective action and is rounded off with coverage of the requirements for auditor certification.
Finally, there is a written examination with successful students being issued with a recognised certificate of achievement.
